This August marked the 75th anniversary of the Empire Farms Days, the largest, outdoor agricultural trade show in the Northeast. Tracey Road Equipment was one of 600 exhibitors at the event which attracted nearly 70,000 farmers from the United States and Canada.
Started back in 1931, the annual event was orginally called the Potato Field Days, when the Empire State Potato Grower's Inc. sponsored their first annual event. The event became known as it is today in 1967 where "Empire Farm Days" was held at Lucian Hills Farm. Over the years, the show has been located at various places across New York State and since 1988 has called Rodman Lott & Son Farms, in Seneca Falls, its home.
The main purpose of the show is to bring farmers in the Northeast the latest techniques and equipment which is available to agriculture. Have a look at some of the event footage:
