It’s the perfect companion . . . for your work sites, that is. Kawasaki’s new 70Z7 wheel loader is stronger, it’s smarter, and it’s simpler than ever to maintain. In a field of tough competitors, it’s the class favorite. And it’s a beauty, too.
The Kawasaki 70Z7 is stronger than ever.
It’s armed with a 173 hp Cummins engine and Kawasaki’s ZF five-speed transmission. Need a quick burst of extra power for those super-tough spots? Just hit the Quick Power switch. You can use the Power mode for sustained extra strength, but in field tests the 70Z7 didn’t even need that to get the job done.
This new wheel loader gives you full-turn tipping load that can reach a truly impressive 22,800 pounds, and 50-degree bucket tilt-back angle for carrying. Optional high-lift arm configuration and third spool hydraulics make it easier than ever to handle virtually any working environment.
And it’s smarter than ever.
- IntelliDig, which works continuously to balance rim pull force and hydraulic digging force
- Based on actual on-the-ground conditions.
- FlexShift, which also senses working conditions and adjusts shift points for optimum efficiency.
Much of the time, your operator only has to monitor the machine’s movements, because the 70Z7 practically runs itself. Sweet. Even the engine is smarter. The same technology that makes it Tier 4i compliant also ensures you’ll use far less fuel than previous wheel loaders in its class. And there’s more.
The Kawasaki 70Z7 wheel loader is your operator’s new best friend on the inside, too.
Kawasaki knows that convenient controls and a comfortable “office” mean your operators can work long hours under the most demanding conditions without undue stress. That makes for a more productive day and significantly reduces any possibility of fatigue-induced errors.
It’s easier to get work done, with sensible dash organization, intuitive systems and a high-intensity LCD monitor. The multi-function single-control lever makes controlling tasks easier, and the direct-acting Orbitrol Steering is accurate and responsive. Visibility is better, too, especially out the back.
There’s a comfortable air suspension seat with optional ride control, a steering column that tilts and telescopes, a bolt-on adjustable side console and plenty of storage. The indoor temperature is always just right, regardless of the weather outside, and the cab is pressurized to keep dust out. The AM/FM/CD/WB radio with auxiliary input allows your operator to rock out or move to soothing symphonic sounds.
Service is a snap, and you can do it less often.
The less time you spend on routine maintenance, the more productive and profitable you can be. And the fewer consumables you have to purchase over time, the lower your total cost of ownership. The Kawasaki 70Z7 wheel loader has you covered.
Thanks to its Tier 4i engine, the 70Z7 doesn’t need a diesel particulate filter, and that means you can skip the regen, too. The latest EGR technology reduces particulate and nitrous oxide emissions. And the automatic reversible cooling fan and diesel fuel cooler work together to curb heat and dust build-up.
High-tech hydraulic fluid and engine oil lengthen service intervals to 4000 hours and 500 hours, respectively. And Kawasaki’s patented HN bushings, used throughout the loader’s front end, lengthen lube intervals to 500 hours, too. When you do need access to the engine, it’s easy because the gull-wing style doors open wide.
The Kawasaki 70Z7 is more than just another pretty face. Perhaps it’s destined to be your new best friend.
