Tracey Road Equipment's 2018 Holiday Gift Guide

Tracey Road Equipment’s 2018 Holiday Gift Guide

For Construction Equipment & Heavy Truck Enthusiasts

The holiday season is here, one of the greatest – and most stressful – parts of the season. We all have that person, or people, in our lives that are difficult to shop for, for one reason or another. This year we decided to put together a 2018 holiday gift guide for all of your out there shopping for the equipment or truck lover in your life. These gifts are great for the equipment operator who loves his Hyundai excavator, to the retired over the road driver who felt at home in his Western Star truck. There’s something on this list for everyone, and we hope it comes in handy this year, and for years to come.

New Holland C238 Model

This New Holland track loader model is a great gift for the landscaper, who spends many hours in the spring and summer beautifying the world. This model is a 1/16th scale die-cast metal replica that is available from our online store, Shop.TraceyRoad.com. We have other makes and models available, check them all out here.

No matter what the industry is, any New Holland operator would love to receive a replica of their office on tracks.

Western Star Gear

Is your loved one more into the open road than digging in the dirt? Then consider these Western Star models from the Western Star Gear Shop. They are currently available in the 5700XE model in red, blue, silver and a tanker version.

If you’re not sure they’d love this recent release from WS, think about this birch wood ornament with Western Star logo laser engraved on it. This would make a great gift that can be enjoyed every holiday season and proudly displayed on their tree for years to come.

Start ‘Em Young

What about the little ones on your list? For the son or daughter of the loader operator or equipment enthusiast, try starting them young with construction equipment model toys! Even Target carries this Liebherr loader from Dickie Toys, a Liebherr excavator, and other kits that include construction equipment toys.

Dickie Toys also make this Freightliner Forester Truck with Air Pump, complete with functioning logging arm, and toy logs. This could make for hours of fun for a kiddo who has a relative in the logging industry!

Speaking Of Freightliner Trucks

For the retired truck driver who spent years behind the wheel of a Freightliner, this “Grumpy Freightliner Owner Lives Here” sign is a great and unique gift idea. This sign would be displayed proudly in any garage, man cave, or heck, even living room! Displaying the classic Freightliner logo, the vintage look of this gift give the perfect look for any old timer.

Having an ugly sweater party? Check out this 2018 Ugly X-Mas Sweatshirt from Freightliner’s gear shop.

Set The Mood

Know someone with a killer downstairs bar, or a man cave to be envious of? Give a gift to deck their space out, like this neon illuminated clock from Hyundai, or a sweet counter stool to line up in front of their bar.

Get the party started with some Kobelco branded Solo Cups in their trademark blue color. Buy one to put on display, or a whole set for the next game of beer pong. Give a gift that’s cool to look at, keeps your drink cool, and it entertaining with these Slap n Wrap Koozies from Hitachi Loaders!

The possibilities are endless with these types of gifts! It may take a little digging – pun definitely intended – but you can find something unique for that hard to shop for person. Other popular gifts are equipment operator themed t-shirts and hoodies, Carhartt jackets and beanies, and Yeti tumblers that are as tough as they are.

Hopefully, this list helped to spark some ideas for your gift giving conundrums, and maybe we’ll put together another holiday gift guide next year. If you purchase any of these items or are inspired by us, post a photo on social media of the recipient and the gift and tag it #TraceyGiftGuide so we can see!
