UNITED AUTO SUPPLY POWERS MAJOR EXPANSION WITH SUPPORT FROM TRACEY ROAD EQUIPMENT
United Auto Supply (UAS) is in the midst of a major transformation—one that’s reshaping the way auto parts are distributed in Central New York and beyond. With skyrocketing demand, a drive for innovation, and a commitment to operational excellence, UAS is investing over $20 million in the second phase of its expansion. And Tracey Road Equipment is proud to play a supporting role in powering the effort.
When Growth Gets Real, UAS Calls on Tracey Road
UAS is proud to distribute over 100 manufacturers’ product lines including ACDelco, Motorcraft, Raybestos, Mevotech, Chevron, Dorman, AP Exhaust, Walker, Moog, Monroe, Wagner, Bosch, Gates, Wix, Baldwin & many more. With industry-leading technology, accessibility and availability, we are confident that we have business solutions in place to service your company’s needs.
A Rapid Rise: From 6,000 to 10,000+ Orders Per Day
When UAS launched the first phase of its automation plan in 2022, the company was shipping approximately 6,000 orders daily with an average turnaround of six hours. Fast forward to July 2025, and UAS is now handling over 10,000 orders per day—often within a stunning 2–3 hour ship time. Their original five-year growth projection? Surpassed in less than three years.
Expansion That Meets the Moment
This kind of growth brings challenges, and UAS has tackled them head-on. To accommodate soaring demand, the company made a strategic move to expand within its existing facility—reclaiming space from the original P&C Foods structure dating back to the 1950s.
The goal: modernize 250,000 square feet of legacy infrastructure to support high-tech material handling systems like:
Wire-guided forklifts
Robotics
Fast-pick mezzanines
But building an automated system on a compromised foundation wasn’t an option. The original floors were riddled with issues—from outdated trolley systems and steel columns to 8-inch-thick foam under former cooler spaces.
So, UAS made the tough call to completely remove and replace the existing concrete floor—a critical step to support the reliability and precision of the new technology being installed.
Powered by Tracey Road Equipment
None of this would be possible without a reliable fleet of heavy equipment—and that’s where Tracey Road Equipment has stepped up.
In just two weeks, UAS’s top-tier in-house construction team removed 4,500 yards of concrete, using a range of Tracey Road-supplied machines. This phase required precision, power, and around-the-clock support—something Tracey Road delivered without missing a beat.
“Tracey Road and its employees have done a great job supporting us over the years, but the last two weeks they have really stepped up to keep us MOVING!” said a representative from UAS.
A Partnership Built on Trust
United Auto Supply and Tracey Road Equipment have cultivated a long-standing relationship grounded in reliability and results. From day-to-day operations to large-scale demolition and construction, Tracey Road has consistently delivered the machines and expertise needed to get the job done right.
The UAS expansion is more than just a facility upgrade—it’s a bold investment in the future of supply chain logistics. And with Tracey Road in their corner, UAS is paving the way for the next generation of fulfillment excellence.
Stay tuned as this project unfolds and the new automation systems come online, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
