Position: Asphalt Equipment Technician
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
Salary: $30-$40 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
A Successful Candidate:
- Diagnose, repair, and overhaul asphalt equipment such as pavers, rollers, milling machines, etc.
- Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufactures’ specifications.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all asphalt equipment.
- Weld or fabricate broken parts for repair, improvements, or upgrades.
- Communicate repairs progress to direct supervisors.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel as dictated by customer needs.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of asphalt specific equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction.
- Ability to read and comprehend diagnostic service information.
- Ability to gather date, compile information, and prepare routine paperwork.
- Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures.
- Familiar with OSHA standards.
License/Certification: Driver’s License (Required)
Willingness to travel: 75% (Required)
