About the Role:
Tracey Road Equipment is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant – Sales for our East Syracuse branch. This role works closely with several departments — Used Equipment, Parts, Service, Marketing, Accounting, and Truck Sales — making it an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter with exceptional administrative skills who wants to join a company that’s a leader within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and proofread sales-related documents including proposals, contracts, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and consistency while filing all documentation according to procedure.
- Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally, preparing and sending communications such as quotes and order confirmations.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system, regularly updating customer profiles and sales records.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing correspondence, phone calls, and routine inquiries.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, coordinating shipments, assisting with order fulfillment, and maintaining literature stocking levels for the sales department.
Qualifications:
- Previous dealership experience preferred, with 1 year in truck or equipment dealerships preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service experience preferred.
