FELLING DDI SERIES TRAILERS ARE HERE - DISCOVER THE NEWEST DROP DECK INNOVATION

Felling Trailers has once again raised the bar in trailer design with the launch of its new DDI Series (Drop Deck I-Beam) trailers. These trailers are engineered to deliver maximum strength with a minimal load angle, making them ideal for transporting low-clearance equipment like pavers, rollers, directional drills, and compact track loaders.

At Tracey Road Equipment, we know how important efficient loading and transport are to our customers. The new Felling DDI Series Trailers offer a practical solution that combines structural strength, operator safety, and ease of use—making them a smart choice for contractors, municipalities, and rental yards.

Felling DDI Series Trailers Deliver Low-Load Angle and High Versatility

Felling Trailers proudly announces the next generation of the I Series, now the DDI (Drop Deck I) Series of drop-deck equipment trailers. This redesign enhances structural performance and expands capabilities for contractors, landscapers, and equipment operators in North America.

What Makes the DDI Series Different?

The Felling DDI Series is based on a drop-deck design built from a one-piece fabricated I-beam, which enhances structural integrity and reduces flex over time. But the real standout feature is the low load angle of just 6° to 8°, depending on the model. This makes it easy to load equipment with low ground clearance or rubber tracks—without needing high-angle ramps or additional equipment.

Key Features of the Felling DDI Series Trailers:

  • One-piece fabricated 8″ I-beam frame construction for superior strength and durability

  • Low load angle (6°–8°) for easier loading of low-profile equipment

  • Custom-engineered beavertail designed for smooth transitions

  • Standard 4′ ramps with reinforced support

  • Heavy-duty slipper spring suspension

  • Optional air brake packages for select models

  • Towing capacity from 7,000 to 20,000 lbs+ depending on configuration

Whether you’re hauling a skid steer, a directional drill, or a compact roller, the DDI Series allows for faster, safer, and more stable loading in the field.

Ideal for Specialized Equipment Transport

Not every trailer fits every job, and that’s where the Felling DDI Series Trailers shine. They’re designed with today’s compact and mid-sized construction equipment in mind—especially machines with track systems or low approach angles.

Perfect for:

The low-deck height and reinforced construction ensure that even delicate equipment loads securely, with minimal wear to tracks or undercarriage components during loading.

Built With Operator Safety in Mind

Felling has prioritized operator safety and convenience in the DDI Series. With improved beavertail geometry, anti-slip deck surfaces, and reinforced ramp construction, crews can safely load equipment with less risk of slippage or tipping. Tie-down points are positioned for secure transport, and the trailers come prepped for LED lighting packages to improve road visibility.

Custom Options Available

Like all Felling trailers, the DDI Series is built with customization in mind. Customers can spec options such as:
